I can't express how much I will miss Elaine. She was such an amazing neighbor. She was absolutely wonderful with my children, and seemed to take such joy in them even when they wouldn't leave her alone! They were always peppering her with questions, or trying to help her with her birdseed. She remembered their birthdays with gifts of amazing books, and always supported our decision to homeschool. Her friendly greetings of, "How ya do?", her kind smiles, and our countless waves to each other, are how I will remember her. My only regret is that I wish I'd have found time to just sit and "be" with her, to hear the many stories I'm sure she had! Life is crazy with 3 small children, but I should've made that happen. I hope she knows how much we loved her and how much we will miss her. 

I have many memories. In addition to being a friend of my mother's, a member of my church and a teacher at my high school, Mrs. Robinson gave me  weekly piano lessons beginning at age 8 and I still have my first music book with her writings in it.  I credit a great deal of my lifelong love of piano to her.  When I remember her, I think of her smile (and the gold-framed eyeglasses she wore for many years).  As a child, I thought she was very smart and very kind.  That impression of her remained  through the years.  My sincere condolences to the family.
