Age 79 of Chautauqua passed away on Monday, August 2, 2011 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert E. Callahan; son, Mark G. Callahan; great-grandson, Dylan Paul Badger; and parents, Karl and Theresa Waizmann. She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Bertie) Callahan, K. Phil (Sherry) Callahan; grandchildren, Stacey Callahan, Megan (Steve) Badger, Mallory (Jeff) Hooks, Kaitlin Callahan, Darcy Callahan; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Avery, Abi, and Alex; brothers, George (Roberta) Waizmann and Charles Waizmann. Trudi retired from the Miamisburg News, was a member of the Miamisburg Art Guild and the Carlisle Lions Club. A Gathering of Friends will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the Chautauqua Community Center, 23 Entrance Rd. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Robert E. Callahan Scholarship Fund, c/o John Warrington, 250 Jamaica Rd. Carlisle, Ohio 45005.
