

Age 102 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She was born in Miamisburg on August 18, 1913 to the late Fred and Cecelia (Gephart) Heil. Also preceding her in death is her husband, William Jennings Brooks; brother, Carl Roades; son-in-law, Karl Robbins and best friend, Edith Dooley. Helen is survived by her daughters, Virginia Strong, Patricia Robbins, Ruby Clark, Ellen Morton;12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 34 great-great grandchildren; special friends, Marilyn Boyd, Butch Hamilton and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Helen was involved in the Miamisburg and West Carrollton Senior Citizens Center, a sewing club, Mary Milers and is the oldest member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed baking, Bingo and has worked at the Peerless Mill Inn, Miami Valley Bowling and Driftwood. The family would like to Thank Norma Nianourris, Pastor Tina Scheuller, dear friend, Bob Morton, and the Sycamore Hospital staff for all of their love and support. Friends and family may visit from 4-8 pm on Friday, November 6 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home. The funeral will be 1:30 pm on Saturday, November 7 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Tina Scheuller officiating. Helen will be laid to rest in Hillgrove Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Hospital or the Miamisburg Senior Center, in memory of Helen.
