Joann G. Wead of Centerville, Ohio departed this earthly realm on August 18, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; daughters, Lindsey (Ryan) Bicknell and Kelly Wead; beloved grandchildren, Emmett and Addie Bicknell; sisters, Diane, Beverly, Linda, and Barbara; and brother, Dean.
Joann was a life-long member of Trinity Church of Miamisburg where she served on many committees, sang in the choir, and played in the hand bell choir. A trumpeter, she performed with both the Miamisburg Alumni band and the Centerville Community band. An avid paper crafter, she was well known for her beautiful handmade greeting cards.
Visitation will be Saturday August 26th at 10:30 am, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 at Trinity Church of Miamisburg, 203 East Linden Avenue in Miamisburg Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hospice of Dayton or to the Joann G. Wead Memorial Pipe Organ Restoration and Maintenance fund at Trinity Church.
