Karen Caughron, age 74, passed away on Friday, January 1st, 2021. Karen was born on December 29, 1946 to Clement and Lillian Roth in Allentown, PA. Karen made her home for most of her life with her husband Johnny in Kissimmee, FL. They were avid bass fishers, fishing competitively in and winning some tournaments. Johnny preceded Karen in death and she decided to make Batesville, AK her home for many years. Dayton, OH became her final home a few years ago, allowing her to live near her relatives. There she made many new friends including her close and dear friend, Phyllis.
In addition to bass fishing, Karen had many interests. She loved hand quilting, crochet, knitting, and sewing. She was always making and gifting quilts and other items for friends and family. Karen also spent much of her spare time reading and working puzzles. Most of all Karen loved spending her time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her sister, Sandi Troup; nieces: Shawna (Gavin) Wright, Kristen (Timothy) Roseberry, Erin (James) Bryson; great niece Gabrielle and great nephew Andrew Roseberry.
Karen will be laid to rest beside her husband in Kissimmee, Florida.
