

Madonna Catherine (Fullenkamp) Sinks, age 83, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026. She was born in Ft. Recovery, Ohio on January 23, 1943, to the late Hugo and Matilda (Keller) Fullenkamp.
Madonna grew up on a farm, the oldest daughter among 11 siblings. She shared stories of her youth including milking cows early in the morning before school, caring for her younger siblings, attending sock hops/dances, and playing basketball. In 1961 she graduated from Ft. Recovery High School. She graduated from Saint Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in 1964 and worked various healthcare jobs. Later in life she earned a Bachelor of Art from the University of Dayton. She was proud of her work at Channel 22 including set design for the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon.
Her occupation was nursing. Her vocation was art. She created beautiful things and shared them with others. Sewing clothes and home decorations. Painting ceramics and murals. Stitching pictures and crocheting afghans. She also created outdoors, tending to beautiful landscaping, flowers, and a thriving garden. She was a good cook, baker and candy maker, especially caramel corn. She had an affinity for York Peppermint Patties and loved ice cream. Madonna enjoyed dogs and always had one as a pet. Other favorites were The Sound of Music, Elvis and playing card and board games, like UNO! She had a quirky sense of humor and a hearty laugh.
Madonna was a devout Catholic and a woman of deep faith. She wore The Miraculous Medal and gifted it to many.
She is survived by children, Brenda Weller, Andrew (Susan) Keller, Teresa Faust, Angela (Bob Ison) Mullins; 11 grandchildren, Broderick Weller, Reese Weller, Peyton Weller, Kaila Weller, Mary Keller, Patrick Keller, Nicholas (Kayla) Faust, Gary Faust, Caroline Mullins, Ethan (Melissa) Mullins, Joshua (Emma) Mullins; 2 great-grandsons, Gary Faust, Oliver Faust; siblings, Sylvia (Matthew) Stammen, Matthew (Debra) Fullenkamp, Karen (Lester) Berning, Eileen (Donald) Hoying, Luke (Sharol) Fullenkamp, Anna Marie (Kenneth) Brunswick, Roman (Marlene) Fullenkamp, Ralph (Kate) Fullenkamp; brother-in-law, Dale Wendel; and numerous loved ones. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth Wendel, Martin Fullenkamp, and Loren Fullenkamp.
Final resting place will be at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
