

Marshall Ryan Houseman passed away unexpectedly on April 6th, 2026. He was a one-of-a-kind, creative, and genius man. He was a master carpenter working on many homes and creating artistic pieces. He owned MR Houseman Custom LLC and worked alongside talented builders and craftsman. He passionately loved fishing, being outdoors, his family, friends, and co-workers. He made friends everywhere he went. He was a renaissance man from the beginning who was good at everything he put his mind and hands to. He was fierce, loyal, and loving. He will be missed beyond comprehension and loved beyond words.
He was born on November 21, 1979, to the late Karen Hitchcock Houseman and late Marshall Wayne Houseman.
He is survived by his wife, Kaitlin Houseman, and two kids, Liam & Lyla. He is also survived by his sisters, Ashley & Jessica Houseman; great aunt, Patricia Caris; aunts, Mary Hitchcock Landdeck, Julie Hitchcock, Tammy, Cindy, & Barb Houseman; uncles, George Hitchcock, Drew Landdeck, William “Keith” Houseman, Mark Houseman, & Gary B. Hampton; stepmother, Melissa “Missy” & Jon Wetherill; cousins, Jessica Haas, Matthew Hitchcock, Marisa (Hitchcock) Riley, Michael, Lisa & Heather Hitchcock, Grace Landdeck, Brandon, Brad, Brenda, Jenna, Brandon & many other extended family members and treasured friends.
He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Marvelene Hitchcock; paternal grandparents, Bobby Joe and Carolyn (Kesler) Houseman, Sharon K. Houseman; uncles, Paul Langley Hitchcock, Kelly J. Houseman and Paul Houseman.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, April 13, 2026, at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Avenue, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home with live streaming available through the funeral home website or https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/c26046677666946.
