

Age 65 of West Carrollton, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Moraine. She was born July 24, 1949 in Dayton to the late John M. and Beulah (Land) Sutter. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Arrowood in 2007; sister, Nancy Combs; brother‐in‐law, Bob Colegrove and her beloved dogs, Misti and Kati. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Nijak of Miamisburg; son‐in‐law, Chris Nijak; sister, Judy Colegrove of Las Vegas; grandsons, Nicholas Phillabaum, Jacob Nijak and James Nijak; great grandson, Benjamin Combs; nephews, Rob and Jim Colegrove; her beloved Sheltie, Hogan; and dearest friends, Peggy Ludwig, Lynda DiGiovanna, Elise Hafenbrack, Cathy Kern and Bertha Reynalds. Pat was a graduate of Patterson Co‐Op High School and worked at General Motors for a short period of time before becoming a full time mother and wife. Pat re‐entered the workforce after raising her family and became the bookkeeper for the Miamisburg News. Later she became the Accounting Manager at Hafenbrack Marketing, where she was employed for approximately 15 years before retiring. Pat was an animal lover and dedicated a great deal of time to caring for the animals she adopted. She enjoyed work and was a skilled stock investor. She enjoyed attending the Dayton Dragons’ games, and was a season ticket holder. Even though Pat was enjoying her retirement, she fantasized about getting a part time job with the franchise. Family will receive friends during a casual gathering from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Gebhart‐Schmidt‐Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A celebration of her life will follow at 7:00 PM also at the funeral home where guest will be encouraged to share their thoughts and fond memories of Pat. In accordance with her wishes, Pat’s cremated remains will be returned to the care of her family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton at 1661 Nicholas Rd., Dayton, OH 45418 in Pat’s memory.
