Paul T. Rogers

Age 79 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 21, 2014. He was born on June 22, 1935 in Rogersville, TN to the late, John and Martha Rogers. Also preceding him in death is his beloved wife of 45 years, Sally Rogers (July 2014); grandson, Blake Powers (September 2014); brothers, Joe, John, Roy and sisters, Janie Rogers and Mattie Wood. Paul is survived by children, Sharon Powers of Norcross, GA, Debbie (Charles) Hayden of Springfield, OH, Marty (Greg) Mangold of Florida; grandchildren, Ryan and Tracy Powers, David and Ashley Moyer, Shelby and Matt Wilson; great-grandchildren, Emma and Ella Powers, Abbie, Belle and Madison Wilson, Kielee, Marissa and Trevor Wilson and many other extended family and friends. Paul is a US Army veteran and has been an active, longtime member of St. James United Methodist Church. He retired from Monsanto after 32 years of service. Friends and family may visit from 9:30 am-11 am on Saturday, September 27 at St. James United Methodist Church, 401 Carlwood Dr, Miamisburg, followed by the funeral service at 11 am, also at the church, with Pastor Deb Holder officiating. Interment following at Springboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. or Hospice of Dayton, in memory of Paul.
