Phillip Armstrong

Age 68 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 28, 1944 to AD Armstrong and the late Jimmie Mae (Wright) Armstrong. In addition to his mother, also preceding him in death is paternal grandmother, Phronnie Armstrong; paternal grandfather, Bert Armstrong; uncles, Gerald Armstrong, Johnny Armstrong, William H. Armstrong, Frizzell Mooty Hagens and great niece, Naomi Simmons. Phillip is survived by his father and step-mother, AD (Odessa) Armstrong; sisters, Brenda (Moses Jr.) Goodman, Dellareese; brothers, Derrick Armstrong, AD Armstrong, Jr., Kino Armstrong, Xavier Pointer; nieces and nephews, Adrian, Carson, Shawn Jr., Brendan, Christopher, Tre, Michael, Diamond, Glenn, Serenity, Moses III, Maliya, Caleb, Derrick, Marketta; great nieces, Shekeena, Jessarea, Zarih, Danell, Saundra, Da’marria, Andresha, Takila, Kemani, Maria, Shemar, Passion and Ariana and his devoted friend, Tony. Phillip was always known for helping someone in need and will dearly be missed by all that knew him. He spent his time helping at the West Side Market.
