Phyllis Jean Blackburn, 84, of Miamisburg passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at Sycamore Glen. She was born September 30, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio and was a 1953 graduate of West Carrollton High School. Phyllis enjoyed the Game Show Network and was a collector of many things.
She is survived by her son, Ron Blackburn; grandchildren, Andrea (Brian) Dalton, Carleigh (Eli) Hayes, and Kyle Blackburn; great grandchildren, Bret and Kaity Dalton and Larkin McNeil; sister, Vicki (Chuck) Spivey; as well as good friend, Alice Coburn.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Richard Emig; mother, Florence (Hoover) Mefford; step-father, Joe Mefford; husband, Kenneth Blackburn; daughter, Teresa Huffman; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Blackburn.
Phyllis’ wishes were to be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg. Services are entrusted to GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg.
