Age 77 of West Carrollton, OH passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the Laurels of West Carrollton. He was born on July 23, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio to the late, Earl and Marie (Bettis) Shope. Also preceding him in death, his wife of 34 years, Alice (Parker) Shope; daughter, Susie Shope; son, Rick Shope and grandson, Justin Osterfeld. He is survived by his daughters, Marsha Miller and Dee (Dan) Osterfeld; grandchildren, Jason and Nicole Miller, Allison and Mike Osterfeld, Jennifer, Jessica and Jaqueline Shope; great-grandson, Wesley Miller and brother, Tom Shope. Richard served in the US Air Force. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
