Ruth M. (Bailey) Woods

Age 91 of Washington Township, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Liberty of Washington Township. She was born on September 27, 1923 in Dayton to the late, Henry and Pearl (Peffley) Winter. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Donald Eugene Bailey; sisters, Naomi Furnas, Rachael Woods; brother, Carl Winter and great nephew, Kevin Wampler. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Bailey and Nikki Marshall; grandchildren, Chris, Sandy; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Nathaniel, Halle, Jackson; brother, Paul Winter; second husband and friend, Charles Woods and several dear nieces and nephews. Ruth enjoyed fishing and swimming. She has been a longtime member of Trinity Church. Ruth will always be remembered for her gift of caring for the residents at Liberty, helping with the activities and for the peppermint patties she always gave to everyone. Friends and family may visit from 11am-1pm on Wednesday, April 29 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Funeral will begin at 1pm on Wednesday with Pastor Ed Long and Joe Getts officiating. Interment following at Hillgrove Cemetery.
