DALTON, Thomas Michael, age 75, a life-long resident of Miamisburg, passed away on Monday, July 13th, 2020 at Trinity Medical Center in Trinity Florida. He was born January 27, 1945 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio to his late parents Dorothy Jane Wilhelmi & William Sylvester Dalton. He is survived by his companion of 56 years Pat Dalton; daughter Yvette M. Dalton (Macarena Rose); son Mark T. (Heather) Dalton; grandchildren Sarah E. Dalton, Steffen M. Dalton (Amber Gregory), Samantha J. Dalton, Chiara (Nate) Byrd, Brian (Julianne) Rose; great grandchildren Sadie Jane Dalton, Zophia Sweet, Autumn Sweet, Chloe Byrd, Aubrey Byrd and Lily Rose; brothers Terry (Sandy) Dalton, Tyrone (Joyce) Dalton and the late Ted Dalton; his late sister Paulette Robinett (late Jana Uhlik); nephews Jeff Dalton, John Dalton, Martin Dalton, Denny Dalton, Terry Dalton, Todd Dalton, Brent Dalton; nieces Traci Kuzminski and Jenny Dalton; additionally many other family members and friends.
Thomas was currently a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty. He contributed greatly to the launching of Keller Williams Realty in the country of Belize Central America. He retired from General Motors where he finished his career in production and quality control. He studied Quality Control at Sinclair Community College and was a graduate of Miamisburg High School class of 1964.
Thomas was an avid learner and loved to teach his children and grandchildren anything they would sit still long enough to learn. He has amazing building skills and left his handprint and craftsmanship in the homes and businesses of his family and friends. There are many places where he spent time with family and friends you can witness his craftsmanship in the projects he took on for the people he loved. He was a quiet soul with a huge heart and quick wit. He was the first to always help out and was extremely generous with his time and resources.
Some of his other activities included reading and studying various subjects, traveling and photography. Most of all, he enjoyed his time with family.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, July 27th, 2020 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will begin 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 28th at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Burial will take place at Hillgrove Cemetery following services.
