Albert was born in Warren, Pennsylvania on September 26, 1939. He spent most of his childhood in Cherry Grove, PA and Sugar Grove, PA. After being displaced through various orphan homes, Albert spent the rest of his high school years under the care of Kate and Henry Johnson.
Albert was a devoted follower of Christ and a long time member of Abram Creek Baptist Church.
Albert was preceded in death by his father Glenn Nathan Durlin and his mother Bernice Thelma Durlin (née Jordan); his caregivers Henry and Kate Johnson.

A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 18664 Sheldon Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142. A graveside committal will occur Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at West Park Cemetery, 3942 Ridge Rd, Cleveland, OH 44144.
Albert will be laid to rest in West Park Cemetery, 3942 Ridge Rd, Cleveland, OH 44144.
