Bonnie Lou Goans

Bonnie Lou Goans (née Blankenship) was born on April 20, 1948, and passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at the age of 77. Her life was marked by deep love for her family, unwavering faith, and a quiet strength that carried her through both joy and profound loss. She will be remembered with love, gratitude, and respect by all who knew her.

Bonnie was a compassionate and resilient woman who always put others before herself. Her gentle presence brought comfort, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Firm in her faith, Bonnie lived a life devoted to Christ, showing His love through her words and actions. Her faith guided her daily life and gave her peace, purpose, and hope.

Family was the heart of Bonnie’s world. She was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a loving great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in those she loved. She is survived by her children Walter Harper (wife, April Harper), Jennifer Tischler, Jessica Goans Palmer (husband, Kole Palmer), and Julie Goans. She was blessed with 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved children Virginia Dawn Owens and Kendal “Kenny” Harper, as well as her former husband, Jesse Goans.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings Leo Blankenship, Paul Blankenship, Allene Blankenship, and Roger Blankenship. As the last living of five siblings, Bonnie carried with her a lifetime of family history, memories, and bonds that spanned generations.

The funeral service and viewing will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Craciun Funeral Home located at 14925 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights, Ohio 44130. A memorial service will immediately follow.

Bonnie Lou Goans will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strength through loss, and the enduring love she leaves behind. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will continue to inspire, comfort, and guide those who were blessed to know her.
