He is survived by his beloved wife Carisa, with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage this year. He also is survived by his loving children Andrea Lucas (Brinton), Esther Collins, Gloria Binkley (Chris), and Michael Collins; his three beloved grandchildren Audrey, Abigail, and Nicola; his three older siblings, brothers Gary Collins (Judy) and Glenn Collins (Jane), and devoted sister Nancy Collins Irwin (John); and many nieces and nephews.
Brian was a faithful follower of Christ, a steadfast husband, a deeply dedicated and involved father, an adoring grandfather, a beloved son and brother, a talented industrial salesman, an enthusiastic talker and jokester, and the rarest of things—a fundamentally good and honorable man, who was kind to everyone he met, forgiving and faithful, tender-hearted, a truly devoted family man, and both strong and gentle. He was taken too soon, and he will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held at Craciun Funeral Home (14925 Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights), Wednesday, October 4 from 4 - 8 pm. A formal funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 10 am at Grace Church (7393 Pearl Road, Middleburg Heights), followed by a brief graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park).
