DAVID S. BINDER

BINDER DAVID S. BINDER, age 87. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dave Binder. Dave was born in Pennsylvania and reared in Toledo. After serving in the Navy, Dave graduated with a chemical engineering degree from Toledo University, which led to a successful lifelong career with Mann Engineering. Dave was a devoted man, loved by many for his wit, humor and ability to talk to everyone. He would make you laugh with his jokes, and make you feel like you had known him for years. Additionally, his love and passion for music continually entertained family and friends. The hours spent with the Binders were joyous and memorable. Dave was never a sad man and would not like those around him to be saddened by his passing. Instead, every time you listen to Miles Davis or Frank Sinatra, or laugh at a silly movie, think of Dave and smile. Despite facing severe physical challenges late in life, Dave always maintained a positive outlook and a wonderful sense of humor. Dave was a beloved and true husband for 63 years to Frances "Frannie" (nee Bahnfleth). A loving father of David Binder and Jill Grahn (Gregory). Cherished grandfather of Bradley Binder (Alisha), Jacob Grahn, Matthew Grahn and Madeline Binder. Dear brother of George, Florence Fuerst and the late Edward. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Hospice Services of Southwest General, 18697 Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights, OH 44130. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones, and all who knew him, but will never be forgotten or lost in their hearts. Celebration of Life Service Friday January 9, 2015 at the funeral home 2:00PM.
