Grace M. Suppa (nee Garofalo), age 78, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, after her 3 month battle with Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. Beloved wife of nearly 60 years to Anthony "Tony" Suppa. Loving mother of Gina Limbert (Kevin) and Lori Sveda (late Craig). Cherished grandmother of Alexis Sveda (fiancé Todd Lambert) and Alyson Sveda (partner Justin Aine). Dear sister of Lucille “Lou” Hribar (Edward), Salvatore “Sam” Garofalo (Carol) and the late Victoria “Vicki” Schultz (Late Russ). Aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend of many.
Family was the heart of Grace’s world. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones—whether it was a holiday celebration, a Sunday dinner, or simply sitting together, sharing stories and laughter. She made each gathering feel special, filling it with her warmth, thoughtful touches, and incredible homemade food. Grace spent over 20 years working at Casual Corner and later at Esbi International, where she brightened the room with her warmth, beauty, and charm. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and found joy in sunsets, shopping trips, boating, playing cards, and spending time in Florida. She treasured her lifelong friendships, who she shared decades of laughter and unforgettable memories with. Grace’s beauty, kindness and comforting presence made her the person everyone turned to for advice, a listening ear or simply a good long conversation. Her legacy of love, generosity, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
“Time has taken me from you, although not very far. I’ll be watching through the sunshine and through the brightest star. I’ll be watching all of you, from the heavens up above. So take good care of each other and carry all my love. If you’re ever wondering where I am, here’s where you can start: Take a look inside yourself, deep within your heart.”
