John Stroescu, age 86. Dearly beloved husband for over 62 years to Ioana Stroescu. Loving father of Mitel (Corina) Catrina, Sorina (Sorin) Tudor, Marius (Anca) Stroescu and Marilena (Scott) Mateosky. Cherished grandfather of Alin (Kristen) , Christopher (Jasmine), Gina (Igor), Michael, Rachael (Lauren), Megan, Nicole and Juliet (Grant). Dearest great grandfather of Oliver, Benjamin, June and Jade. Dear uncle, cousin and friend of many. Our Dad escaped Communist Romania through Turkey. So his family could be raised in freedom in America. We thank Tati for what you did! We have a beautiful family and life in our adopted country. May you rest in peace we love you so much and eternal will be your memory.
A visitation will be held at Craciun Funeral Home, located at 14925 Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130, on October 15, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Saracusta Service will take place at 5:00 pm on the same day.

Interment will follow at West Park Cemetery.
