Joseph Bovenzi

Joseph Bovenzi, age 80. Beloved father of Donna Moyers (Steve), Joe (Christa) Bovenzi, Diane (Randy) Patrick and Chris (Jeff) Sopko. Former husband and friend of Sandra. Loving grandfather of Michael, Joey, Amanda and Taylor. Dearest great grandfather of Layla. Dear brother of John (Sue) Bovenzi both deceased. Dearest uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Joe joined the Parma Police Department in September 1965. During his 30 year career he achieved the rank of Captain, mentored many, and proudly retired in 1993. Joe enjoyed his retirement years, golfing with his many friends and spending time with family. We will miss him. In accordance with Joe's wishes, all services were private with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
