MARIA MIDEA

MARIA MIDEA (nee Manocchio) age 92. It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing. She was a gentle soul, full of unconditional love for family and friends, a beautiful smile and a willingness to help beyond expectations. 

She came to America with a young family and she worked hard as a seamstress to help support her family. She dedicated her life in helping her family in many ways, including assisting to raise her grandchildren. She loved cooking and gardening; there wasn't a day when the table was not full of wonderful home cooked meals and a display of fresh vegetables from the garden. She was an awesome woman!

She will be missed by her loving son Tony (Angie) and her daughter-in-law Mary (the late Pasquale), her cherished grandchildren Felix (Kelly), Maria Menillo (Vince), Joseph (Rebecca)  and her great grandchildren, Patrick, Michael, Benjamin, Lillianna, Viviana and Antonio, her many nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years Felice, her parents Antonio and Angela Manocchio and her dear sisters Concetta Noviello (Antonio) and Rosa Barile (Antonio). 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 St. Rocco Church at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 4-8 P.M. AT THE A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS. (WEST OF I-71).
