My dearest Uncle Mark, ðŸ’– I want to say how greatful I am, to be your niece. You have always been such an incredible Uncle, for which I am forever grateful. You always cracked me up with your jokes, and brought so much laughter in every memory I have of you. Such wonderful memories to look back on, from all the family gatherings over the years, our trip to Niagra Falls, Siesta Key, and Bay Harbor, St Augustine.  A lifetime filled with happiness and joy that you shared me and with those who knew you. Thank you for everything you have done for me over the years, from the wisdom you shared on finaces, words of encouragement, and always cheering for me. Even when I treked the Grand Canyon, you were looking out for me, providing guidance ensuring my safety! I hope that I have made you proud! I will forever cherish every moment spent, and hope to keep your memory alive by living  like you taught me to, with integrity, honesty, wisdom, and to bring laughter and joy to all those around me. I know it's only for a short time before we meet again, and I know you are watching over us as a a protector from Heaven with Grandma, and hope to see you when I go on my new assignment and hope your there to greet me! Mark was a remarkable friendâ€”one of the most humble, hardworking, and gracious individuals I've ever known. His unwavering support for my children and his constant presence in our lives for over 25 years have left an indelible mark on our hearts. His kindness and generosity were evident in every interaction, and his ability to lift others with his warmth and encouragement will never be forgotten.

One of my fondest memories is of the time we spent together in Bay Harbor, Michigan. Mark was elated to play golf with me on that beautiful fall day. The weather was perfect, the golf was excellent, and the week was filled with vibrant autumn colors, delightful food, mini jellies and enjoyable outings. It was a special privilege to witness one of Mark's three remarkable "Hole in Ones" during a different tripâ€”an experience that truly highlighted his skill and passion for the game.

I will deeply miss our conversations in the garage group, where Mark's bright laughter and insightful remarks always brought joy and light to our gatherings. His presence had a unique way of brightening even the darkest days, and his friendship has been a true blessing.

Thank you for everything, Mark. Your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew you. Godspeed.

I have only know Mark for a few years but he was always so kind and a pleasure to be around. I wondered why he has not been at the mens breakfast lately. I am sad and may he rest in Gods peace. I will see you in heaven Mark. â¤ï¸ðŸ™ðŸŒ¹ðŸŽˆ

I only knew Mark a few years but he was a joy to be around. He had stories for days. Sitting around the dinner table he was always cheerful and joyous making everyone laugh. He will be missed my many.  My condolences .

That man use to beat me up on the golf course and on the jui jitsu mat years agoâ€¦would always have a beer and laugh after.. truly great guy!

As Markâ€™s next-door neighbor, I had the privilege of knowing him, or as I called him, 'Mr. Mark,' for my entire life. From greeting him as he arrived home from work, to bringing over plates of snickerdoodles, to running up his water bill building a slip 'n slide in his backyard, and eventually becoming part of the 'garage group,' I hold countless fond memories of him close to my heart.

One that stands out is the lighthearted rivalry we shared over Ohio State and Michigan. Mr. Mark was a die-hard Michigan fan, and as a proud Ohio State alum, we never missed an opportunity to tease each other. I once wrapped up chocolate Buckeyes for him, and he even gave me Michigan socks for Christmas one year. I let him know I wore them on Wacky Sock Day!

Our playful rivalry, along with the many memories I have of Mr. Mark, truly embodies his fun-loving spirit, his incredibly generous heart, and the profound kindness he shared with everyone around him. He will be deeply missed, but we will cherish the memories, jokes, and laughter we shared to keep his spirit alive.

Mark was more than just an uncle to me; he was like a second father, always offering support, guidance, and unconditional love. He made my childhood something truly special, filling it with laughter, warmth, and so many cherished memories.

Markâ€™s presence was one of quiet strength, always there when you needed him, with a heart that was open and giving. As my godfather, he treated me as his own, making me feel loved and valued in a way I will never forget. Whether it was offering a listening ear or a comforting hug, he had a way of making you feel safe and understood. His love extended beyond words, expressed in the countless little things he did to ensure that those around him were happy and cared for.

His 41 years of marriage to my Aunt Sandy were a testament to his loyalty, devotion, and the deep love he had for his family. Their bond was something truly special, and I am so grateful to have witnessed that kind of love in my life. The lessons Mark taught me about love, kindness, and what it means to be there for others are things I will carry with me always.

Though Mark is no longer with us, his spirit and his legacy live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will always be remembered for his incredible ability to make people feel valued, for his selflessness, and for the way he made the world a better place just by being in it.

Uncle Mark, you were truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for the impact you had on my life. I will carry your love with me always and strive to live by the example of kindness and compassion that you set. I love you unc

I remember when one of our Walking with Purpose Bible study friends was moving this summer,  we as a group went to Westfield Country Club for a going away luncheon.  We were all prepared to pay our own way, but Sandy said it was her generous husband, Markâ€™s treat. Iâ€™m embarrassed to say I forgot to write a thank you note for a lovely luncheon & his generosity.  

I think my husband might have known him & sold or serviced tires for The Ruhlin Construction Co where Mark worked.
