

MARK D. AVERY, age 66. Beloved husband of 35 years to Sandra (nee Flak). Dearest son of the late Donald and Nancy (nee Kooman). Dear brother of Susan Traut (Robert), David Avery (deceased) and Gail Giordano. Cherished uncle of Danielle Edwards (George), Samantha Giordano, Laura Jean Flak, Alexandra Flak, Destiny Lindley, Jackson and Violet Edwards. Dear brother in law of Gregory Flak. Also survived by his daughter Nicole Avery McNamara, grandchildren and many dear friends.
Mark’s life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and the joy of simple pleasures. Throughout his career in the construction industry, he earned a reputation for excellence, particularly during his years with The Ruhlin Company. Mark’s skill and experience made him renowned as "The Best" in his field.
His true passion was golf, and those who knew him best often found him at the clubhouse after a round, savoring a cold drink and sharing laughs. He also cherished long rides on his Harley and valued the time spent with loved ones.
Mark’s vibrant, larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His kindness, quick wit and humor, touched the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy is one of faith, loyalty, and integrity. He will be deeply missed, and his generous spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
