Mary J. Goins, (nee Diemert) aged 93, passed away on October 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Charles Goins. Loving mother of Janet Larson (Wally), Charles "Chuck" Goins (Betty), Thomas "Tom" Goins (Brenda), Kenneth "Ken" Goins (Sandi) and the late Peggy Goins. . Cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 8.
She was the devoted sister of Judy Hein and the late Don Diemert (Doris). She has several nieces, nephews and many dear friends who will miss her greatly.
Born on October 26, 1931 in East Cleveland, Ohio, she lived most of her life in Parma, OH. Her early working years were spend at Ohio Bell Telephone Company, but she spent most of her life a homemaker, raising her 5 children. She loved her family and friends, thoroughly enjoyed playing cards, entertaining, decorating, and was revered for her culinary skills, but most of all, spending time with her family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the St. Ambrose Church (Ministries) in her name.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM In St. Ambrose Church, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. (PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE CHURCH BETWEEN 9:30 AND 9:45 AM)
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 4 - 7 PM at THE A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH 44130 (WEST of I-71)
