Michael Mac P. Levak

Michael P. “Mac” Levak, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA., age 89, passed away December 5th, 2013. Devoted husband of 60 yrs. to Frances R. (nee Olszewski); beloved uncle of Linda Laski of Middleburg Hts., great uncle of Mark (Jennifer) Laski and great-great uncle of Jared and Lauren Laski of Carroll, OH; and great uncle of Michele (Jim) Badowski, great-great uncle of Alicia and Kelly Badowski of Brunswick, OH. Loving uncle, great and great-great uncle to many nieces and nephews of the Olszewski (Danner), Walczak (Cudnik and Szczech), Shafsky (Rechtenbach and Edwards) and Stefanko Families. Dearest son of the late Frank and Catherine Levak and loving brother of the late Frank and Anne Levak all of Pittsburgh, PA.

A well-known broadcaster as “Mike Lee” for many years at WPIT radio station in Pittsburgh, PA. and sportscaster for many college basketball games. Mr. Levak was an ardent and devoted fan of the University of Notre Dame football, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mr. Levak served his country as a Sergeant in the Army-Air Force stationed in Naples, Italy during World War II.

Family will receive friends Tuesday 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Craciun Funeral Home 14925 E. Bagley Rd. Middleburg Hts,Ohio; Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 11:00 AM at St. Bartholomew Church, 14865 E. Bagley Rd. Internment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Notre Dame University Football 100 Guglielmino Complex Notre Dame, IN 46556.
