Mr. Michael Otto

MICHAEL E. OTTO age 53 passed away alongside his family on July 8, 2025. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 26 years Dana (nee Williams). He was a devoted father of Danielle (fiancé Devin Brant), Michael and Dylan Otto. Born January 30, 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio, to his parents Kathleen and the late James Otto. Dear brother of James Otto (Charlene), Theresa Scheiman (Michael), John Otto (Anna), Laureen Pfenninger (Robert), Ronald Otto (Abbey Alberico) and the late Robert Otto. Brother-in-Law of Tracy Capretta (Albert), Tammy Stacho (Thomas) and Dennis Williams. Uncle of 30. Also survived by his mother-in-law Paula Williams and father-in-law Dennis Williams, Sr.

With his brother John at his side, he started and managed a company, ‘Otto By Products’ for the past 17 years. Many of Michael’s nieces and nephews worked alongside him, illustrating how much family meant to him. Despite everything, he worked to the very end, showing how hardworking of a man he was.

Michael was a kindhearted, thoughtful, and uplifting spirit to those blessed enough to have known him. He had a positive impact on his community, church, and the people who loved him.

He fought his sickness to his last breath, demonstrating extraordinary strength and courage. He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bartholomew Church, 14865 E. Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio on Saturday July 12, 2025 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (West of I-71).
