Robert A. Hamilton Sr.

Robert A. "Bob" Hamilton Sr., age 97. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Vanta) for 70 years; devoted father of Robert, Jr. (Lynda), Randy (Tracy) and Robin Bracy (Steve); cherished grandfather of Julie Roelandts (Koen), Steven (Catherine), Tim (Sarah), Robert III, and Daniel (Lauren); dear great grandfather of Henry, Vincent, Amelia, Brooke, Paige, and Julian; caring brother of Georgianna Rohde (Ralph), Joy Platko (William)(both deceased), and Gloria Gray. U.S. Army Veteran.

Bob lived and loved life. He had a loving devotion to his wife Ruth and worked hard to create a loving family life. His love for travel, especially out west, encouraged many family vacations. He was a devoted employee of 40 years to Ford Motor Co. and had a passion for cars. He was a member of his church, St. Paul’s Lutheran (Berea). Bob served our country in the Army for 2 years. He rarely passed up a celebration or an opportunity to enjoy music and dancing. All birthdays were to be celebrated along with anniversaries, retirements and holidays. Any opportunity to bring people together to eat good food and have some laughs was high on his list. His legacy lives on across three generations.

Funeral services 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 276 E. Bagley Rd., Berea (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment Sunset Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends MONDAY 4-7 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS. (WEST OF I-71)
