THOMAS A. NELSON

THOMAS A. NELSON age 57. Former husband and still dearest friend of Debra Meckel. Beloved son of Floyd and the late Leona Nelson. Dearest brother of Ronny, Tim (Gineen) and Julie Duellman (deceased) (Tony). Special uncle of Tony, Joseph and Tom Duellman, Mark (Hannah), Patrick and Ali Nelson and great uncle of Joshua, Jacob and Abigail. Member of the Sons of the American Legion of Fairview Park and Lorain, OH as well as the Westlake Yachting Club. Tom was an entrepreneur, starting his first business, Industrial Commercial Service Co., as a very young man. He then joined his brother as partner/owner of Component Systems, Inc., where he managed every aspect of manufacturing, plant management and logistics. His unique ability to solve problems was second to none. Tom was everyone's "go to guy". He was loved by all who came to know him and cherished by his family. Tom was an avid fisherman (muskie hunter), boater and Harley Davidson enthusiast. His legacy will be his genuine concern for anyone in need, sharing his possessions, time and advice to help make life better for those he loved. Tom lived life on his own terms. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Friday July 3, 2015 at 4:00 PM. Family will receive friends Friday 1:00 - 4:00 PM at the A.
