1950 – 2025
With heavy hearts, we share that Timothy Rex English, age 75, of Berea, went home to the Lord on December 2, 2025.
Born in Defiance, Ohio, Tim was the son of the late James Ray and Mary Alice English, who surely welcomed him with open arms. Tim was the beloved husband of 29 years to his soulmate, Laurie (née Carbon). Together they built a life filled with laughter, music, and unwavering love. He was the proud and devoted father of TJ and Lauren (Casey) Glem, and the caring step-father of Duane, Cindy, Tracy, Bo, Dion, Lisa, and Robbie—each of whom he loved as his own. He was the cherished grandfather of Chance, Devon, Kolten, and Christian, and a joyful step-grandfather to many more little ones who lit up his world. He is also survived by his dear brother Tony (Linda) and his sister-in-law-in-law Bonnie (Mike) Bruno, and will be fondly remembered as an adored uncle and a true friend to all who knew him.
Tim lived his life with a kind heart, a generous spirit, and a passion for sharing joy. His love of music carried him through more than 50 years as a lead singer in several bands, and in his younger days, he delighted crowds as an Elvis impersonator—something that brought smiles to anyone lucky enough to hear him. Music was his gift, and he shared it freely.
In addition to his musical talents, Tim had a deep love for motorcycles, particularly his Harley. The open road brought him a sense of freedom and adventure, and there was nothing quite like the thrill of riding. Whether cruising on a sunny day or taking a leisurely ride through the countryside, Tim cherished these moments on his bike.
He found peace and happiness in the outdoors, especially while fishing or hunting, and he worked tirelessly as a commercial truck driver throughout his entire career. Tim was a proud member of The Sons of the American Legion, and his faith was the steady foundation of his life. As a devoted Christian and member of Divinity Lutheran Church in Parma Heights, he trusted deeply in God’s grace and lived each day with gratitude.
Those who knew Tim will remember a man who loved deeply, laughed often, and never hesitated to help others. His voice, his humor, and his warmth will remain forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2 PM–6 PM at Craciun Funeral Home, 14925 E. Bagley Rd., Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
A funeral service celebrating Tim’s life will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Divinity Lutheran Church, 11877 Blossom Avenue, Parma Heights, Ohio.
He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio.
May his memory be a blessing, and may the love he shared live on in all of us.
