Craig is survived by his wife Dixie and his son Dylan of Littleton, Colorado. Additional survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and his siblings and their spouses: Lynne & Kurt Kobelt, Nancy & Todd Leff, Rick & LeeAnn Simonson, and Cathy Simonson.
Craig was a 1979 graduate of Middletown High School where he was a National Merit Scholar. Following graduation, he moved to Colorado and attended the Colorado School of Mines. He was employed by Arapahoe Community College for many years.
A memorial service will be held at Olinger Hampden Mortuary in Denver on Saturday, August 30.
