John worked at Modern Tools as a Tool and Die Supervisor. He enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid The Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen J. Horvat and sisters, Marita Welker and Rosemarie Palmer.
John is survived by his children, John (wife, Dawn) Horvat and Sandi (husband, Chris) Tierney; grandchildren, John Phillip, Jason, Patrick, Christopher, Jesse, Richard and Meaghan; great grandchildren, Harrison, Carrie, Evelyn, David, Judah, Grant and Edgar; brothers-in-law, John "Hans" Welker, Mike (Kathy) Stine, and sister-in-law, Sherilyn Wilson; special friends/neighbors, Ron and Carol Albright and Isreal and Anna Herrera; and many nieces and nephews.
