Born October 14, 1947, in Clay City, KY, she was a daughter of the late Cobert Curtis and Bessie Sams Curtis. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Whisman; six brothers and two sisters.
Nortie was an LPN for over 20 years until she retired. She loved her job and was a caring and compassionate nurse. She never met a stranger and was a friend to many. Her life’s focus was her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Traci (Robin) Kelley, Sheron (William) Whisman, Billie Mazak, Jon McIlvain, Jackie (Danny) Brock, John Curtis, and Larry (Ashley) Curtis; 14 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held at Butler County Memorial Park in Hamilton, OH, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 10 am.
