Sam, working with you was a great pleasure, no matter how bad the day, you always had a smile. Many years have come and gone since then, but I will always remember the smiling face and cheerfulness of our beloved "SAM"

You will be greatly missed. May God wrap his arms around your family.

Brenda, I prayed everynight for God to give you at least 5 more years since you called me and told me 6 months ago you had lung cancer.  I needed more time with you, we just started getting close the last 5 or 6 years.  God knows it wasn't our fault, we were raised apart and I never got to grow up with a sister to talk to and share things.  I had plans to come visit this year and begged you to come to Florida and do things together, but you were just like Momma, you liked just being at the house, close to the kids and your pup. I know you are in heaven up there talking and laughing with Momma, Shorty our brother and your Dad.  I'm so glad they are there for you, but I hate cause God took you so soon and we didn't have more time together. I wish I would have kept your voice on my phone so I could listen to it, I always erased messages after I heard them and wish I had not been so neat to clean up the voice messages. Then, I would have your sweet, voice to listen to when I was thinking of you. We had a nice talk a few days before you you went to ER, I'm so I'm glad we had that conversation and you knew I sent your afghan for your couch that I crocheted for you. I wanted more time so I could go over the time you grew up without me there.  I'm hoping you will come to me in my dreams like Momma used to do after she passed, so I'm looking forward to our talks, then.  I love you so much and I'm so glad I told you that over and over, cause Momma never told us that and we needed to hear it.  Love you, RIP, Shirley, your Sis

Aunt Brenda I am sorry that we did not get to see you. You were such a beautiful person inside and out and always put everyone first. You are now in a peaceful place and not suffering anymore.  love you

SAM, YOU WERE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PERSON, INSIDE/AND OUT. OUR YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP THRU WORKING AND JUST BEING TOGETHER WILL ALWAYS BE TREASURED. FOR SURE NO MATTER WHAT YOU SET YOUR GOALS TO BE, IT WAS ALWAYS 100%. YOUR FAMILY, DAUGHTERS, GRANDS, AND GREATS WERE SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE YOU THERE ALWAYS NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION WAS. SHE LOVED YOU EACH MORE THAN HER OWN LIFE AND BECAUSE OF HER SHOWING OF LOVE, FAITH AND TOTAL DEDICATION TO ALL WE ARE SO LUCKY AND BLESSED. Sam how I miss your daily phone call. I will never regret the Friday before you became so ill and took a down hill spiral. Friday( Jan 8th) will be the best chat/time together talking about what was about to come so real that our time together was coming to a end. I have picked up the phone to call you and tell you what is going on so many times but your in Heaven enjoying a healthy body and enjoying those that have gone on before you. Thanks for being my friend thru these years and our trips and such will be the memories that we shared. Your just in the other room now and I will see you again because that is what the good book says. Love you and miss you more than words can tell. Cheryl Kincaid
