

Charlie was born on January 29, 1935 in Floresville, Texas to Harper and Beatrice Masters Bundrick. He married his life long sweetheart and best friend Janitha Ann Denman on August 14, 1953 at the young age of 18. The couple lived in Midland, Texas for many years where he worked for Southwestern Bell and AT&T. During that time he worked hard and respectfully earned the title of Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge. They later moved to Portland, Texas where he concluded his career of many years with SWB/AT&T as a communication specialist. After retiring, they moved back home to Midland for a short while and then to Manor, Texas to be caregivers for an aunt. He and Janitha moved to Mullin, Texas in 2005 where he enjoyed the blessings of sweet time spent with the love of his life, dear family and the peace and beauty of nature, which he so loved. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janitha Bundrick, his mother Beatrice Masters Bundrick and father, Harper Bundrick, brother Harper Lee Bundrick Jr. and sister, Patricia Bundrick.
He leaves behind two daughters, Karen Neal and husband Steve both of Odessa, Texas, Lanee’ Sargent of Georgetown, Texas; sister, Laverne “Dinkie” Rose and husband Raymond of Floresville, Texas and a brother, Elmo Bundrick Vickers. Grandchildren, Josh Odom and wife Melanie of Midland, Texas, Kristen Janysek of Georgetown, Texas, Austin Neal and wife Jordan of Melton-Mowbry, England, Kayla Sargent of Georgetown, Texas; two great grandchildren, Weston and Paisley Odom of Midland, one niece Cheri Smith of Key West, Florida and daughter Erin Wagoner and husband Carl of Key West, Florida; Three nephews Raymond Rose Jr., Don Rose and David Rose; best friends Warren Olson, Troy Allen and a host of other family and lifelong friends.
The family would like to express thanks to Light House Hospice and all others who have loved and cared for him.
The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Thursday, November 17, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. Graveside services have been scheduled for 9:00 A.M. Friday, November 18, 2011 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
