Clifton Harris

Clifton Harris Sr. was 82 years old when he passed on May 13, 2022 at his home. He was born to Hosea and Vera Mae Harris on June 4, 1939 in Waelder, Texas. He lived in Gonzales, TX and Caldwell TX, before moving to Midland where he married Willie Emma Burns on January 26 1963. To this union three children were born; Teresa, Cleveland and Clifton Jr. They were faithful members of Northside Church of Christ in Midland until their death. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; five brothers Hosea Jr, Theodore, Andrew William, Author Daniel, Lee Douglas; two sisters: Vera Ella and Darlene. He is survived by his children: Teresa Long (Willie) of Midland TX, Cleveland L. Harris (Vanessa) and Clifton Harris Jr (Denise) both of Odessa TX. Three siblings: Tommie Lee Harris (Midland, TX), Lavenia Marie Jones (Litchfield, AZ), and Ed Windell Harris (Nashville, TN). Eighteen grandchildren, forty seven great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
