Floyd Allen Wilson

He married the love of his life, Charlene, in 1954. They moved to Midland to begin their family.

He began his career in auto mechanics for Studebaker and continued to be a mechanic for 50 years.

He was a member of Faith Country Church in Midland, Texas.

He loved God and his family and was a talented musician. He played in his church, the community center, and at nursing homes. He enjoyed life to the fullest. His ever uplifting, positive spirit, contagious smile, and giving heart was known to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his son Steven Allen Wilson and his wife Lenna (Charlene) Fowler Wilson.

He is survived by a daughter and son in law, Linda and Robby Dickenson, of Wolfforth, Texas; grandchildren Christopher Chaney of Midland, Texas; Britt Dickenson of Wolfforth, Texas and Tara and TJ Green of Coahoma, Texas; great grandchildren Aubrey, Kaylor, Emily, and Berkley Green of Coahoma, Texas and Many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Chaney, Britt Dickenson, TJ Green, Rod McDonald, Dale Crouse and Ed Shrum. Mac McDonald will be an honorary pallbearer.

He will lie in state at Ellis Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. There will be a Graveside Service at Resthaven

Memorial Park on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at 1:00 p.m.
