

Geraldine W. Morgan passed peacefully into glory at home surrounded by her family on May 17, 2011 after a brief illness. She was 82 years old. She was born in Knox City, TX to Robert Elijah and Nell Wimberley, on December 14, 1928. She married the lover of her life, Willie Bob Morgan on June 13, 1965.
Geraldine loved working with numbers and was a bookkeeper for JCC Partners, American Glass and Mirror, and various other companies.
At the age of 62 she completed the health Unit coordinator Training at Midland College and began working at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was employed there as a Unit Coordinator from 1991 until 1998.
May 25, 1999 she founded Bethlehem Glass, Inc. and was the President until 2003.
Geraldine loved life and she never met a stranger. She and Willie loved to travel and they toured several countries in Europe and traveled to Alaska with family and friends.
She and Willie loved rodeo and were avid fans attending the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV numerous times.
If you ever needed encouraging, she was the one to call. She lived for her family and loved to make them happy. She was and always will be our biggest cheerleader.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Wanda Garret, 13 half brothers and sisters, and grandson, Eric Snow.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Willie Bob Morgan; by two sons, Tom Snow and wife Jacque of Albuquerque, NM, Michael Snow and wife Cheryl of Midland, Tx and daughter Gloria Smith and husband Richard of Midland, Tx; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren a, and three great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Texas. At Geraldine’s request there will be a party celebrating g her life after the service.
