Julius Cecil Roberson

Julius Cecil Roberson, of Midland, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010. He was born in Harmon, Louisiana December 18, 1923 to Julius H. Roberson and Mary Elizabeth Born Roberson. He had been a resident of Midland for 57 years. Cecil had proudly served his country during WW II in the U.S. Navy. Prior to his retirement, he had been with Mobil Oil for 38 years. Cecil was a member of the Nazarene Church for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lillian Rosemond Roberson, and sister, Annie Stephens. Cecil is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Donald C. and Rebecca A. Roberson of Huntsville, TX: John D. and Esmeralda Roberson of Houston, TX; Ronald A. and Annette Roberson of Tucson, AZ; Marcus V. and Lisa Roberson of Midland, TX; Tychicus L. and Tammy Roberson of Midland, TX; grandchildren, Katherine Carmona, Alicia M. Roberson, Jared C. Roberson, Jessica A. Patin and her husband, Jeff, John A. Roberson, Jennifer M. Roberson, Christy S. Pullen and her husband, Brian, Rebecca R. Roberson, J. Avery Roberson, and Tychicus Roberson II; great-grandchildren, Kade Pullen and Kason Pullen; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Lila Roberson of Midland, TX. The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Monday, May 31, 2010 between the hours of 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. Graveside services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M.
