Margaret L. Booth

Margaret was born on a cattle ranch in Snyder, Texas on September 12, 1942 to Bill C. Baggett and Rosa Lee Blair both from Blackwell, Texas. At the age of four her family moved to Midland, Texas. Margaret proudly graduated from Midland High School 1961. After graduation she was employed by SS Kresges in the Dellwood Mall. Opened Kmart in Midland Texas and retired the day it closed their doors. Margaret gave 34 years to the Kmart Company and was happily retired for ten plus years. Days were spent reading mysteries, playing with her dog Hydee, and spending time with her family and friends.

Margaret is survived by her only child, Angela Allen (Brown) and her husband Richard Allen of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren, Ashlee De Leon Reyes and her husband Trysten Reyes of Las Vegas, Nevada, Cody Allen and wife Carol Allen of Midland, Texas, and Cassie Allen of Las Vegas, Nevada; four great-grandchildren, Jayden Allen, Kalea Reyes, Lelan Mermis, and Randy McMooring.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Ellis Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date when family members arrive.
