

Nancy was born on May 12, 1943 in Marfa, Texas to Otis and Doreen Young. Shortly after, the family moved to Marathon, Texas where she attended school. She met the love of her life Jerry J. Lee while attending school. After graduating high school, they got married in the summer of 1961. After getting married, they welcomed their first child Vicki Lynn in March of 1962.Three years later they welcomed their son Sonny Lee.
Nancy and Jerry had a love for cooking. They often competed in chuck wagon cook-offs. After Jerry’s death, Nancy followed her dreams and ran the Marathon Coffee Shop where many people got to enjoy her home cooked meals. She was known for being able to make a meal from nothing and it be nothing less than spectacular!
Nancy is survived by her children, Vicki Seidel and husband Richard of Tilden, Texas; Sonny Lee and wife Melissa of Midland, Texas; her grandchildren, Brandon Seidel and wife Jackie of Tilden, Texas, Shanda Seidel of Tilden, Texas, Magan Lee of Midland, Texas and D.J. Lee and wife Leshaun of Midland, Texas; her great grandchildren, Kaity, Karson ad Kyndell of Tilden, Texas, Kannon Lee and, coming soon, baby Reagan Lee of Midland, Texas; her sister Kaye Smith of Forsan, Texas; mother in law Maisie Lee of Marathon, Texas and numerous other family members.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Jerry J. Lee; her parents Otis and Doreen Young; her sister Patsy Winsted and father in law Guy Lee
Nancy will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Midland Memorial Hospital along with Hospice of Midland for taking care of Nancy even when she was being hard headed.

There will be a graveside service at the Marathon Cemetery in Marathon, Texas on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
