

Onnie was born on the family farm in Pinehurst, Georgia. She was the youngest surviving sibling of 8 children. During World War II, she worked at Warner Robins Army Air Base outside of Macon, Georgia. She married John in 1946 and they moved to Miami, Florida in 1948. They were married for 47 years. Throughout their marriage she was a homemaker and later worked with her husband at his scrap metal business until they retired to Midland in 1987.
Onnie is preceded in death by her husband John; her sisters Alene, Lillie Mae, Louise, and Ruth; and her brother James.
Onnie is survived by her children Dr. John Bray of Midland and Anne Moulton of College Station, her grandchildren Amanda, Alexandra, Andrew, Adam and
Victoria, and great granddaughter Clementine.
Services will be held at Christ Church Midland on Tuesday, June 30, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Henry Pendergrass officiating. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland.
