Rita Curry

She was born on February 23, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Glen and Lelia Cain who precede her in death. Rita Married Scott Curry on March 5, 1961. They were married for 32 years before Scott’s passing in May 1993. They had two children, Michelle and Vince Curry. Rita was a stay at home mom for most of her married life. She worked for several years at Bag and Baggage in the Midland Mall where she made many friends.

“Nan” leaves behind her sister Glenna Haskell and husband Steve; children Michelle Ream and husband John and their four children Brandi Conlly, Amber Ream, Colton Ream, and Stormi (Mason) Sparacino, Vince Curry and his children Whitney Curry and Courtney Curry and Brian Wafford and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Ellis Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be a private burial at Resthaven Memorial Park.
