Shirley Wilks Hull

Shirley was born April 17, 1934 in La Junta, Colorado to Ray and Ruth Wilks. Shirley lived a rich life, besides her family she enjoyed many things in life some of which included, playing bridge, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoyed the many different activities at Manor Park where she lived the last seven years. Shirley was a Kappa Kappa Gamma from her alma-mater, Southwest Missouri State. She was the most caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother one could have.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Hull, parents, Ruth and Ray Wilks, grandchildren, Trevor and Beavin Hull.

Shirley is survived by her brother Don Wilks and wife Laurie of Arlington; children, Beca Hull; Amy Cook and husband Tommy; Brit Hull and wife Pam of North Richland Hills; Jeff Hull of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Adam Hull and wife Katie, Parker Hull, Turner Ingle, Gage Foster, Paige Ingle, and Hadley Hull and great-grandchildren, Ellie Kate Hull, and Jace Hull.

A celebration of Shirley R Hull’s life will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday February 27, 2016 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens, arrangements under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
