

Timothy was born on August 24, 1956, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Nancy Brewer Gibson and Randall Gibson. He graduated from Lee High School in Midland, Texas, and built a life defined by creativity, hard work, and an adventurous spirit.
Throughout his career, Timothy spent many years in construction management, paving operations, consulting, and project coordination across Texas and New Mexico. Timothy also pursued his creative passions as the owner of The James Gang Studios (photography studio) and The James Gang Hideout (restaurant) in Canyon Lake, Texas.
Outside of work, Timothy enjoyed drawing, skiing, traveling, and caring for his horses. He was known for his outgoing personality, sense of humor, and willingness to help others. Whether through his work, friendships, or family, he left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters, Andrea Gibson of McKinney, Texas, and Lucy Gibson-Strickland and her husband, Will Strickland, of Mississippi; his son, Timothy Aaron Rutledge, of Georgia; his grandchildren, Michael Robertson, Miles Morgan, Zachariah Rutledge, and Isaiah Rutledge; his sisters, Suzanne Sloan and her husband, Rick Sloan, of Bloomfield, Colorado, and Gina Gibson of Midland, Texas; and by his many nieces and nephews, including Michael Sloan, Stevie Sloan, Johnnie Sloan, and Michelle Gibson
Timothy will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends he made throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
