W. E. "Bill" Chaney

W.E. was born February 25, 1924 in Garden City, TX. He graduated from Garden City High School. W.E. married Dorothy Childers on February 9, 1945 and they were married for 56 years. He was a lifetime member of the Garden City Methodist Church.

W.E. owned and operated Russco Chemical from 1960 to 1974. He was president of the West Texas Quarter Horse Association in 1985, and became an American Quarter Horse Association Director in 1989.

W.E. is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy.

He is survived by his sons, Fred Chaney and his wife, Claudia and grandson Evan and his wife Vicki; son Sam Chaney and grandson Christopher.
