She looked forward to reuniting with her husband of 67 years, Welford, her daughter, Loretta C. Peyton, grandsons, Jeremy and Christopher Graham.
Alice and Welford were excellent Christian parents who raised their children in a loving, moral and happy home.
They were among the founding members of Bon Air Baptist Church. She practiced her faith daily and inspired many others with her prayers, wisdom, and absolute faith.
Alice was always a lady. She was a devoted, wife and mother who loved family, friends, animals and See’s chocolate. She was known by everyone as a very sweet person.
Left to cherish her loving memory are her daughters, Linda Rose (Bill) of Richmond, Mary Graham (Billy) of Parksley, Virginia; grandchildren, Michael Graham (Kelly) of Murrells Inlet, SC, Lauren Peyton Seltzer (Paul) Painter, Virginia; and great grandsons, Avery Graham and Jacob Seltzer. She had many loving nieces and nephews, also son-in-law, Pete Peyton.
We were truly fortunate to have such a loving caring caregiver as Wendy Ridenhour.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Tuesday, May 13 at Woody Funeral Home in Midlothian.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at Bon Air Baptist Church beginning at 11am.
Burial will be held at 2pm at Dale Memorial Park.
