PARKER, Bernice Sharpe “Gigi”, 89, of Dalton, Georgia, formerly of Richmond, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Dr. T. Dale Kidd of Dalton, Ga; two sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard and Gloria Lefferts of Blackstone and Terry and Lana Lefferts of Richmond; sisters, Sarah Anthony of Richmond and Thelma Hogwood of Chester; brother, Paul Sharpe of Louisa; twelve grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Her remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (today) and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday.
