
Donna Janczar, 62, split resident of Hopewell VA, and Titusville FL, passed away Saturday February 11, 2012 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Donna was born in Portsmouth Va, oldest daughter of 3 girls to Dale and Marie Wolfe. She spent her childhood traveling in a military family making friendships to which she continued to her last day. After graduating from Denbigh High School in 1967, Donna began a 32 yr career with the Department of Defense Logistics Agency with a variety of positions to which she was fortunate enough to retire at an early age with a rank of GS14. On May 19, 1984, Donna married Stanley Janczar and began an adventurous 27ys of happiness. During her long career, Donna fulfilled her lifelong dream and after much hard work graduated from St. Leo College with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. She and Stan were blessed with an early retirement that allowed them to travel the world seeing sites many can only dream of. Donna finally settled in Titusville Fl, where the weather was more her pace. Donna was a proud member of the Eastern Star Harford Chapter #83. She was also active in Jobs Daughters Bethel #24. Many young lady's still refer to her as Mom Janczar. Donna loved to keep busy, she was a master gardner, enjoyed sewing and crocheting and surrounding herself with friends and family as often as possible. Donna prided herself on being a mentor and a good listener to anyone that needed her and loved visiting new and old friends, and family regularly. Donna is survived by her husband Stanley J. Janczar of Hopewell VA/ Titusville FL, her parents Dale and Marie Wolfe also of Hopewell VA/ Titusville FL, sisters Glenda Wolfe of Fort Bragg NC, Karen Wolfe-Bailey and husband Derrell of Holly CO, daughters Patricia Farmer and husband Frank of Chester VA, Heather Martin and husband Shannon of Prince George VA. She was also the proud grandmother of Matthew King 12, Skyler Martin 12, and Alyssa "Peanut" Martin 6. She had 3 step-grandchildren, April, Jessica and Emily King, with two step great-grandchildren, Peyton and Trey Scott. Donna is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, neices and nephews and many loving friends. A memorial service for local friends and family will be held at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Hopewell Va. A definative date will be posted on the Caringbridge site (donnajanczar). Donna's last days were filled with loving friends, family and memories thanks to the website Caringbridge.org. Her website will remain up indefinately for friends and family to continue to visit and post memories. She has requested that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the charity thats closest to your heart in her name.
