Edwin Thomas Hines, Sr.

Hines, Sr., Edwin Thomas, born in Richmond, Virginia, lived in Richmond at Heritage Oaks Retirement Home, passed into eternal rest on December 10, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Janie and Elwood Hines; son, Edwin Thomas Hines, Jr.; and wife of 56 years, Carolyn Francis Henderson Hines. He leaves to celebrate his life and mourn his passing; daughter, Diane Bowen and husband Ryland Bowen; son, Michael Kelly and good friend Michelle Johns; lifelong friend Beverly Ray; and loving church family of St. David’s Church. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Heritage Oaks for their faithful service and friendship. He will be honored with a private commitment ceremony December 19th, 2020 at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
