DAILEY, Frances Elizabeth, 99, formerly of Greensburg, died September 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Richard Dailey. Survivors include her nieces, Nancy Spencer, Ellen Pemberton, Deb Cullings and Linda Cullings. Frances was a resident of Greensburg for 50 years. She was an active member of Greensburg United Methodist Church. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Indiana Normal School), majoring in Home Economics Education leading to her career as a Home Economics teacher at Greensburg-Salem High School for 30 years. Frances was involved with several organizations in her local community including a local book club as reading was a favorite pastime. She and her husband loved to travel, traveling to most of the USA and many other countries. She was the oldest of six children and the last survivor of her siblings. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, Virginia.
